Lucy
At the dawning shores she arrived
The coldness of the stones struck her whole body
as soft pale fingers touched them below
She sat and stared at each solid wave
breaking in a thousand pieces all over the sand
And she cried as never before
to that view
Salty water invaded her eyes
from the inside out
for the dreary horizon she glimpsed
and wished not to be true
Came as a thousand horses rushing to be slew
and forgotten by the crowd
The coldness of the stones struck her whole body
as soft pale fingers touched them below
She sat and stared at each solid wave
breaking in a thousand pieces all over the sand
And she cried as never before
to that view
Salty water invaded her eyes
from the inside out
for the dreary horizon she glimpsed
and wished not to be true
Came as a thousand horses rushing to be slew
and forgotten by the crowd
